Info

For a large-scale logistics layout featuring six main stations, we were tasked with creating an interactive 3D application that could showcase the entire conveying system. However, due to the complexity and size of the system, delivering a smooth experience across all devices posed a significant challenge.

The solution was a hybrid approach — blending pre-rendered animation with interactive elements. We built a 360° cycle video that loops around the full layout and can be controlled by mouse or touch input. Hotspots placed throughout the scene allow users to trigger specific commissioning area animations, offering focused insights without overloading performance.

This approach ensured the final product could run smoothly on any device — including mobile and embedded web — without compromising on visual quality. While it wasn’t a full 3D application as originally planned, it delivered clarity, responsiveness, and ease of use.

More importantly, it introduced a concept we’ve since reused in other projects — a flexible middle ground between cinematic quality and interactive control.
