“This isn’t just a rebrand — it’s a return to everything we love about building things from scratch. Skyform 3.0 is where all our ideas finally come home.”
It all started in 2009 — just two of us, a few workstations, and a shared love for 3D animation and visual storytelling. Back then, we were focused on process visualizations, breaking down complex systems into clear, engaging animations that made sense to anyone watching. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was hands-on, technical, creative — and we were hooked.
As with any small studio, the early years came with their share of learning curves. Long nights. Budget constraints. A constant dance between the technical and the artistic. But bit by bit, render by render, we grew. In 2014, we added 3D printing to our toolbox. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a core part of our work — a way to balance the virtual with the physical. To make things real. We set up a small workshop and began prototyping models for clients of all kinds, working with a wide range of materials and shapes. It gave our digital work a kind of grounding — and clients something to actually hold in their hands.
Even from the beginning, we were experimenting with real-time 3D engines. Back then, hardware was a huge limitation, so we mostly used it as a complement to animations — letting clients interact with scenes, explore from different angles, and get a deeper understanding of the processes we visualized. It was a bit ahead of its time, and not everyone was convinced. But we believed in it, and kept building behind the scenes.
In 2017, everything changed with the rise of VR. Suddenly, the hardware caught up with our ideas — and we were ready. We dove into immersive tools for machine assembly and interactive product exploration. That shift allowed us to take our real-time content to a whole new level, and it quickly became one of our most requested services. Today, interactive content is at the center of what we do. And after years of experimentation, failure, and refinement, we can confidently say: we can build just about anything.
Our 3D printing atelier also evolved. It’s not just about prototyping anymore — it’s about gaining a new perspective. Seeing things in the real world, holding them, turning them over, believing in them. It’s still our way of making the digital feel grounded.
Over the years, the studio naturally began to branch out into smaller sub-brands — each focused on a specific slice of our services. It helped us keep things clear, especially as our client base grew more diverse. But as time went on, we found ourselves wanting to bring everything back under one roof. And that’s exactly what we’re doing now.
We’re calling it SKYFORM 3.0 — or SKYFORM Next, if you prefer. It’s not just a rebrand. It’s a return to our core, backed by everything we’ve learned along the way. The new Skyform brings together all of our past projects, tools, services, and sub-brands into one focused, flexible studio.
We’ve updated our visual identity, streamlined communication, and are rolling out better tools for client collaboration and project tracking. It’s a shift we’ve been quietly working toward for the last two years, and now — finally — it’s here.
It feels a bit like starting over. But in the best possible way. There’s a sense of nostalgia, for sure. But also a lot of energy. Optimism. And a clear view of where we’re headed next.
